The wing layout makes it compatible with almost any hardware you put in it. It’ll fit anything you throw at it. The motherboard tray is mostly made up of plastic. It’s big enough for two ATX power supplies and supports a variety of motherboard form factors from the large (SSI EEB) to the small (Mini-ITX). Want to wall-mount a dual-CPU workstation? This is one of the only cases that let you do it.

With the MasterFrame 700, you can easily mount a radiator on either side of the frame. It has room for 360 mm radiators each. A solid-state drive might not be an option. We’re looking at you, GIGABYTE X99A-UD3P motherboard. There is a third 140mm fan mount for testing airflow and air pressure.

Place the MasterFrame 700 onto its two support rails, and you get a high-end test bench complete with adjustable wings for fan or radiator mounting. It’s not likely something that most users will use, but it’s an interesting option to have nonetheless. Cooler Master warns against wall-mounting any Cooler Master case more than 30.8 pounds because they’re designed to be mounted to a flat surface. For this reason, Cooler Master states that their cases are suitable for wall mounting only if you’re building a computer for use on a desk.

This should be enough for a basic gaming build. You might want to add an additional GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) as well. A simple wall-mounted shelf is a great place to add some extra space and storage. The Cooler Master MasterFrame 700 is a great choice for those looking for a wall-mounted computer case. It is large enough for large motherboards and multiple radiators. It’s expensive and relatively difficult to build because of its unconventional layout, but there aren’t many competitors that offer what it does.

The Core P8 is a large, multi-faceted case that offers everything you need to build a complete PC setup, whether you prefer to have your system open to the world or keep it locked down in a closed case. The Core P8 is Thermaltake’s best-in-class case for the Core i5/i7 P67 platform. With a high-quality finish, it is designed for premium PC builds, with features like the top bezel side and two removable HDD cages. The new Core i3-8100 has a lot in common with the Core P3, but it also has a few new tricks up its sleeve. This is a larger version of the new Core i3-8100 processor and will cost $180.

Installing the front and top panels allows you to install the radiators in the front and top, which is handy if you’re planning to put two, four, or six 120 and 240-mm radiators in the front and top. The Core P8 can fit both an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 8 GB or a GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 GB. It also fits both an AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8 GB and an RX 570 with 4 GB. The first might seem a bit restrictive, but it’s not too bad: water cooling-specific cards like the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti Waterforce fit perfectly, as should most other cards once you install a water block.

You can also install a flat distro plate to provide more GPU clearance. It’s a good idea to have an extra 8 mm of GPU length to go around, which is why it’s a good idea to use a distro plate like the one seen in the image above. This case is designed for smaller computers. It has 75 x 75, 100 x 100, and 200 x 200 VESA mounts. This model is especially important on the Core P8 due to its size and weight, and you’ll want to use the 200×200 mounts with a strong TV mount designed to take heavy loads. One of the smallest-ever production cameras, the Core P8 is built to be mobile. A fully-built rig could weigh in at around 80 or 90 pounds, but some rigs weigh as much as 100 pounds. It will all come together in our buying guide section.

Overall, the Thermaltake Core P8 is a great mid-tower PC case if you need a larger case than the Corsair Carbide 200R, or you like the extra versatility of the open/closed convertibility. If you’re buying a monitor for yourself, it’s going to be a lot more valuable than the same monitor at a discounted price for multiple people.

THERMALTAKE CORE P1

Measurements (H x W x L)16.6 x 13.1 x 15 inches
Motherboard SupportMini-ITX
PSU SupportATX
Maximum GPU Length14.9 inches
Maximum CPU Cooler Height7 inches

Fan Mounts2x 120 mm (motherboard tray)

The Thermaltake Core P1 is a diminutive case, designed for the smaller form factor of Mini-ITX motherboards that brings the essential features of the Core P3. It’s a decent CPU choice, but don’t go all-in on it. This mini-ITX case only supports the Core P1 motherboard.

Although it is still a relatively large case, you won’t have any problems with compatibility other than being limited to a 240 mm radiator. The biggest issue when it comes to gaming laptops is length. For the most part, any model under 15 inches will be more than enough for even the beefiest graphics cards out there. In order to provide you with a high level of performance, the Core P1 is equipped with an ATX PSU. Thermaltake has included a riser cable with the lower-priced P1, even though the cable is not among their “premium” offerings.

The Core P1 supports VESA 75×75, 100×100, and 200×200 for wall mounting. You should be able to use the P1; the P1 is reasonably light at about 30.8 pounds. The Thermaltake Core P1 is a strange case. On the one hand, it does everything its bigger brothers do at a lower price and in a smaller form factor It’s an excellent, high-quality build for a wall-mounted build.

The reason to build this small Mini-ITX build isn’t limited to just having more room. If you really want to mount a Mini-ITX rig directly to your wall, the Thermaltake Core P1 is the only option you have. Of course not, there are lots of reasons to want a Mini-ITX computer. If you’re in the market for a Mini-ITX motherboard, then the Core P1 is the only one that will mount directly to your wall. You can find the Core P1 in red and white.

FINAL THOUGHTS

It takes more effort and planning to build a wall-mount case than a standard tower case. You can save space in the back of your server rack, which is a great advantage if your office is small. Thermaltake has a clear focus in this sector. It has all the major form factors covered and has a portfolio of high-quality products to match. With all of the new features and the large size, we think the Core P3 is the best for gaming at this price point. This cool new cooler will have you living on the edge. If you’re looking for something unique to bring home, you might be intrigued by the winged Cooler Master MasterFrame 700, an expensive contender.
